♥ Princessa's Royal Diary ♥ - Royalty has never been so PINK!

Fortunately for me, I was able to rush and deliver the site on time for someone to give as a gift to his girlfriend on Valentine''s Day. Seriously it was rather a tight schedule and my dear nearly killed me for ignoring him. In fact, in revenge he didn''t talk to me for 2 whole days.

The design was ready ages ago, but I didn''t have a server to test out the scripts. Like an old saying goes it takes two hands to clap, though it isn''t supposed to be used in such situations, but the idea is there. Let me explain. The design is one hand, the server is the other hand, together you get the website which is the clap. Without either hand, you get nothing, which means you can’t clap. Get the idea?

Like I said the site was supposed to be a Valentine’s Day gift for his girlfriend. Which is also the reason I got confused. Please read my topic title, “PS. Confused, though it’s none of my business”. Anyway, this morning I woke up early to check on the audio player script on his site, he mentioned it wasn’t able to play. Basically I have dozens of scripts installed and my restrictions are minimum, so I had to get someone to check it for me. Fortunately, there were people up at this time in the morning to do me that favor. However, all of them were able to play music. So there’s nothing wrong with the script, it’s his browser’s restriction that’s causing the problem. Unfortunately, I don’t have a solution for it yet, but I’ll come up with something, or I could always pester Teck. By the way, this isn’t what I’m confused about.

Now. For the part that got me confused. I noticed he linked a site to his ‘blogroll’ and went to take a look. That’s when I got a shock. I’m just guessing but that should be his girlfriend’s blog, it wasn’t the kind of blog I would read but his name in the top entry caught my eye. I thought it would have gone something like, “My dear is so sweet, he did a website just for us” and she might even add a sentence to praise the designer (ha-ha, it’s a accomplishment if I receive something like that), or something like that, but NO. It looked like a GOODBYE message!

That got me reading further, and got me completely confused. Why did he get me to do the site for him and his girlfriend, when they won’t exactly together? And as for her, does she know about the website or not? If she does, shouldn’t she be jumping for joy? I mean, I’m envying, not that he isn’t sweet before, just that he hasn’t been lately. Nowadays, my thinks I’m the one who suppose to do the sweet stuff. Anyway, as my mind wondered further, I stopped myself by implanting this sentence “it’s really none of my business”, so I stopped and wrote this entry.

Understand my topic title now? I’m itching to ask, but my job is just to design the site and not to probe into people’s life. So I’m just going to pretend I see no evil.
