After 5 days of recovery, I've finally completed my back up of the existing database to the new version for my blog's CMS (Content Management System).

Man... it wasn't a easy task, the stupid update script practically screwed up my whole database and all my existing entries were partially damaged. It took alot of manual work to get the whole site back in place, and most of my chinese entries were damaged so badly that it couldn't be retrieved. Sigh...

This taught me a new lesson, never write an entry in chinese, it's a BAD idea. It's back to "han yu ping ying" for me.
