How will a pulp result?
First of all, I am never going to work in a club ever again. Unless of cause it under event coordination or a "bore-less" position. Seriously, that 7 hours working at Bar Baa Black Chic felt like 7 years. I could have doze off at any time.
Do some market survey. Have you seen the waitresses working at MU (Music Underground)? They don't go around constantly asking people that are dancing if they want a drink. If I'm the one dancing I'd probably feel annoyed. It's a standard practice in a club. If you want a drink, you go to the bar and get one yourself. How the hell do you keep track of who the hell ordered a drink and who the hell didn't? It's a club for god sake, not a pub. You should get "Tequila girls" to walk around instead of the waitresses.
Anyway, that's not really the main issue. The event was a failure and the crowd was minimum. It was simply boring. After some consideration, I actually walked up to Julian (the bartender) and told him I don't think I'm suitable for this position.
It was a complete disappointment, which kinda destroyed my interest, thus causing my "I'm so not interested attitude". During the interview, it seemed the job would be somewhat interesting. You get to deal with events, interact with people, and of cause do the chores as in serving drinks.
The results, first floor was a mess, the second floor was a drag. First floor, I can't see how am I to push for drinks when it's basically the dance floor. Second floor, well basically there isn't much people. Working in a pub was so much easier. At least you can see who is at what table and you can actually sit down and talk to the person. How do you try to push for a drink when the music is loud and everyone are on their feet?
Duh.
I go by the name Princessa (pronounced as Prin-ces-sa) online, you can also call me Sabrina or Princess Sabrina for that matter.

For a moment I thought my lecturer came to invade my blog again. Julian -_-"
Okay back to the point.
Sorry, I won't be taking it down. This is a personal opinion, it's not subjective and not a commercial attack. Not like I'm going to some forum and flaming "BBBC sucks" or anything. I just implied that the enviornment didn't suit me, and I felt bored.
Yeah it is baseless, if it was based on some actual fact then it wouldn't be whining.
It's a before and after effect. Before going I was calling my friends asking them to drop by to check the place out. After being there, and hearing the comment made by one friend (why so little people de, I thought got event), it was lucky the rest didn't drop by.
Anyway, to me this particular event was a failure. Not like I'm saying that every other was or will be.
Last of all, I didn't "slug" your event. This isn't a review. If it was a review I wouldn't be writing it this way.
In fact, I did write a review for a friend's web portal, and comments made were subjective. No worries, it's completely different from what I wrote here.
You need not take it personally. I'm not a famous blogger, on blogspot or anything like that. No one actually visits or bother what I say.

Hi Sabrina,
I was searching through google.com when I came across your blog.
Reading through your blog, I must say that what you posted is actually quite baseless. Having worked in a pub before, you should know that talking and interacting with customers s very important. In my capacity as the Bar Supervisor, I do observe that you did not display interest in interacting with people. You were doing the opposite.
Personally, I do not think its right to slug our event like this. Please consider taking it down.
All the Best
Julian
