Sounds like you had an awful experience!! it may sound trivial but when your hair isn't right, you don't feel right, so i feel really sorry for you!! Hope it gets sorted soon.

My friend just had a haircut yesterday at
SHUNJI MATSUO. She told me the Japanese guy,
Shunji himself is the biggest IDIOT hairstylist.
He did not bother to listen to his clients.
He cut her hair too short and kept layering her hair at the back which she wasn't aware until too late. It was just awful. Her hair was naturally very long, way below shoulder length, he showed
her he was cutting only up to shoulder length.
And then he just kept cutting it. She did tell
him short already, and he did not care, just
kept cutting at the back shorter, which she was
not aware it was that short until she washed her hair today and screamed. She told me she was
so mad she simply had to call him and scolded
him for cutting her hair too short. And his lame excuse was "you said you wanted it short and
if you didn't want layering, should tell me".
This made her double mad and she called him
STUPID over the phone. She told me don't ever
go there. He really does not understand what
a client wants. And when he makes a mistake,
blame it on client's fault instead of himself.

I cut my hair in HK. She had her hair cut in Paris
last year by a famous Japanese stylist whom she said is very very good and listens very well.
That's why she thought this idiot Japanese stylist
in Spore Shunji Matsuo would be good too, but
in fact he is the WORST and the BADDEST, she said. She found out this guy doesn't even own a salon
in Japan. He's a nobody stylist in Japan.

So im avoiding this salon.

She wants to know who's the best hairstylist in singapore who will listen? I want to know too,
otherwise must fly to HK to cut my hair.

I've had my hair turn green in me from someone who had been doing my hair for years. I have not gone back and I go somewhere new now, but it just sad that happend.

Hi, I had the same experience at one of the well renovated and nice outlook hair salon. My hair perming was a nightmare, no machine as promised, strong chemical solutions till my skin and ears got badly infected for a week and very ex for nothing. Some more "boo shit" a lot(sorry very angrylah), no standard, the worst my japanese spa perm hair became ah soo and look so horrible like black people(hei ren).

Erm... Not Jurong Point one. Actually I would gladly name the salon, but I was so pissed off I didn't take note of the salon name, I only remember where it is located. -_-"

Maybe after I go back and re-do, I'll take note of the salon's name.

In fact, you can go back and ask them to re-do. As in, dye in back black.

Cos u dun really look nice with copper or blonde hair.

Mind if you disclose some hints for this salon?
