This is rather weird. I've disabled my trackback module in the last version Drupal 4.7.x (I can't even remember which version I disabled the module...) because of excessive spamming. Unfortunately, the stupid module didn't allow mass deleting of trackbacks. It's rather tiring to delete one by one considering the amount of spamming. I can do it through database, but it's way troublesome. Afterall, not like the trackbacks were of much use. I think.

Back to the issue at hand...

In my recent log entries, I see alot of page request to view different trackbacks from decades ago (just a figure of speech, my blog isn't created decades ago, come to think of it, I don't even exist decades ago). And of cause, all of them lead to the "Page not found".

I wonder why this is occuring.

Hmm... Come to think of it. I seriously do not have a clue how trackback works. LoLx~ To think I call myself a blogger. I feel somewhat shameful.

Someone care to enlighten me of it's purpose?
