How many Stevens' are there in this world? Damn! Why is it that the ones I know simply don't make the mark, but the ones I don't seems to be remarkably talented?! Sigh.

* Just a note, my boyfriend's name happens to be Steven too! That's one of the major reasons why I'm writing this.

Anyway...

It's time I advise my boyfriend to read up more on people that share the same name as him. A couple of better examples would be Steven Vornea (Chief Executive Officer of CFA Capital Partners), Steven Sinofsky (Senior Vice President, Windows and Windows Live Engineering), Steven Spielberg (Film Director), and Steven Kings (Author). There's a hell lot more but I can't seriously name all of them, there's way too many!

Well, Steven Sinofsky is kinda "tech-guru", Steven Spielberg and Steven Kings just simply isn't his cup of tea (I mean they're in the entertainment industry, in Singapore you need to be REALLY lucky to do well in such an industry), so they're kinda out of the question. But Steven Vornea on the other hand would be a perfect role model! - Much more realistic to follow his footsteps since we're in SINGAPORE.

Read up time!

This is what I conclude after reading up on Steven Vornea at his website. First remark would definitely be IMPRESSIVE!

It seems he started moving towards his career goal at the young age of just 18. According to this phrase, "After a short two years had elapsed, Steven had passed all other representatives for the bank and entrenched himself as the bank’s top producer." Meaning to say, at the age of only 20, he has already achieved portion of his career goal, building the necessary foundations within the industry his in.

I must say to be able to reach such heights in merely 2 years is simply remarkable. Furthermore, "trust" and "risk-taking" are major factors in the financial industry. For Steven Vornea, at such a tender age, it's actually somewhat harder to manage what he did as compared to his peers. I can only imagine the effort and time he put in to accomplish what he did.

I'm going to stop here. Add a little suspense while I pester my boyfriend to do something about HIS career. But of cause if you want to read more about Steve Vornea, you can always go to his bio page.
