It's been a while since PayPerPost have started working on their segmentation and yet, in-dept information on the segmentations were still quite unclear. It was during the launch of PayPerPost 3.1666 that made it all crystal clear.
Changes were made to its system of advertisements and blog marketing. This is how it works, in my opinion...
High traffic, you get high paying opps. Low traffic, you get lower paying opps.
And what is considered high paying opps? As you can see below, I've extracted an image of one of the opps that offers $1,000 for a single post.
This is what I mean by a high paying opps...
But of cause to be able to qualify for such an opps, you'd have to have quite an amount of traffic. It's quite reasonable I would say. Let me explain it in a "realistic” method. If you paid a fresh Degree holder, $3,000 a month to do a particular job, would you also pay a fresh Diploma holder to do the same job with the same amount? The answer is NO. Why?
Yes, it may be true that the fresh Diploma holder may be able to do the job just as well as the fresh Degree holder, or maybe even better. But think of it in another way. The fresh Degree holder had to waste an additional of 3-4 years more studying, plus he also spend at least $20k on education to get the degree. So isn't it fair that the fresh Degree holder is paid more for the amount of time and money he spent? - A little off point.
Let's continue...
Apparently PayPerPost has released a very interesting fact. We all know ReviewMe make a cut of 100% from what you actually earn, but PayPerPost only draws 35% from it. This means you actually make better money with PayPerPost, but of course; disclosure is always required.
This is how it works I guess.
Advertiser pays PayPerPost - $1,000. Thus, bloggers would see an opps at a price of - $650. However, at ReviewMe (advertiser paying also $1,000), we'd be seeing the opps at the price of $500 instead. That's a difference of $150! Thus, you could say that we actually earn more with PayPerPost. Quite obvious actually...
