It's simple. Since I'm only a junior staff, with no control even on a development project that the IT department should be assisting me with, but HE did not lift a finger throughout whatsoever, then why am I doing things beyond my "expected knowledge"?

I noticed an issue with the web server load, I went to seek help because HE isn't willing to help, and somewhat found a solution (thanks to Teck). I inform HIM about it because Server Maintanence should be his job. Wrote it in an email, stating the initial problem and the solution, and at the end of the day, instead of just acknowledging the matter, HE BARKS AT ME!

First of all, I’m a Marketing & Communications Executive not an IT Trainee. Secondly, you’re not my f**king boss. Thirdly, you should have been helping with the technical issues for this development. Since you have not helped throughout, what gives you the right to bark at me? Last of all, you stupid piece of shit, you didn’t even know about this issue. Thus, you’re basically INCOMPETENT!

This is the most "bullshit" part!

Mail server down for a week, he doesn’t make noise. Web server not viewable for roughly an hour, he barks at me.

Basically the web server was suffering high load. Teck suggests to switch off the httpd temporarily to reduce the load till he can resolve the problem, thus the web site was not viewable for about an hour during midnight. The moment this issue arisen, I went to seek his assistance, but instead of giving ANY useful information to help the situation, he barks at me and insults me

What the hell!

Let me remind you something. It should be your job to monitor. It should be your job to give me a solution. It should be your job to keep it stable. It should be your job to do the programming. It should be your job to write a technical report!

It’s bad enough that "blah blah blah". And I still get barked at by the System Administrator who isn't doing his job.
