Backgammon is most definitely a "skill required" game. It has been played for centuries by the most intelligent people in the world. Just knowing the rules and how to play the game is easy, but to be a backgammon master is something else entirely.

I remember my younger years when board games like such are still commonly played. Those were the days where time was somewhat free. I've always been impressed by backgammon masters. The time and effort put in to master such a skillful game is unimaginable.

Millions of people play the game, and millions bet on backgammon games as well. Some have built a career on backgammon - playing, coaching, and betting. Backgammon is seriously a sub-culture game through out the world. However, backgammon is, for many, a difficult game to master. Thus, to help those who wish to learn and achieve master status, an online backgammon animation series has be released.

Even if you're not a fan of backgammon, I'm sure you'll still get a kick out of the video featuring the #1 player at BackgammonMasters, Jean-Claude.

Jean-Claude, the backgammon master tiger, presents, "life according to Jean-Claude". He is an animated tiger from the streets who happens to be a backgammon master. He uses his humorous presentation to help people learn not only how to play backgammon, but how to apply backgammon principles to life. Interesting ah?

Just imagine... A French tiger who gets hassled by his lover to bring home groceries may seem like an unlikely spokesperson for the game of backgammon, but hey - it's the internet, and anything goes!

What more can I say. I love playing the game of Backgammon, and thanks to the internet, I can play online with friends anywhere, and at any time.
