How will a pulp result?
The topic of the day - "parenting teens".
This has been "the topic" since "god knows when", and till now, it still is. In Singapore, there are various "programs for teens" and basically these programs are catered for those teens that requires "additional attention" for problems that they may have created for "society".
The programs aren't to punish them. It's more in the means of helping them mend their ways. In conducting such programs, apart from the teens themselves, the parents' presense are also required. Majority a time, the problem lies with the communication between parents and their teens. And being the rebellious age, teens tend to "over react" and get themselves into a little trouble.
Having such programs do help, but having a place to discuss issues further and at the comfort of your own living room or such, would be even better.
And that is when sites like ParentingTeens.com come in handy to parents.
Basically, ParentingTeens.com provides informative articles for parents with teens. The site focuses on a variety of problems but is primarily designed to help parents with a "troubled teenager".
They work more on a "topic-based" or rather "forum-based" structure. Something like, if you have a problem, you post it, and you wait for response.
You are not alone! - There are many parents out there with a "troubled teenager", join them in their discussion!
I go by the name Princessa (pronounced as Prin-ces-sa) online, you can also call me Sabrina or Princess Sabrina for that matter.

It's often difficult to deal with teens alone that's why it is also good to find solace in the experiences that other parents share in raising their own teenagers. And it is even more comforting to know that programs that aims to help parents with effectively parenting their teens exists nowadays. We need all the help that we can get. Thank you for sharing!

Parenting a troubled teen is always a challenge for all parents. It's a struggle to reach out to our troubled kids but it is at the same time our responsibility to do so. Programs involving parents who have the same concerns for their troubled children are a blessing. I hope they continue to guide parents to help their teens help themselves.
