Lets see, my sister's exams will end after this week and she'll be on holiday right after. Holiday... Should we take a vacation outta Singapore?

It's been a while since we've traveled together and lets not forget I kinda have 16 days of leave to burn this year. But, of cause, not all 16 days will be spend on my sister. I still have to spend sometime with my dearest, darling, boyfriend of mine.

Anyway, I've been considering for quite a while where to travel to but the decision is rather tough. The world is just so... very... huge. And there are so many places I've yet visited. Tsk. Decisions, decisions, decisions...

Ahhh! *All of a sudden the thought stroke me* - Hawaii Travel?

I'm sure I must have heard it or read it somewhere that gave me that sudden idea of traveling to Hawaii. It couldn't have just came out from the blue, could it? Perhaps it was the advertisement on "hawaii oahu vacation rental"?

Where exactly is Oahu?

O'ahu (usually Oahu outside Hawaiian and Hawaiian English) - the "Gathering Place", is the third largest of the Hawaiian Islands and most populous island in the State of Hawaii. Including small close-in offshore islands such as Ford Island and the islands in Kaneohe Bay and off the eastern coast.

The island is home to about 900,000 people (approximately 75% of the resident population of the state) and partly because of this, Oahu has for a long time been nicknamed "The Gathering Place". However, the term Oahu has no confirmed meaning in Hawaiian, other than that of the place itself (Pukui, et al., 1976). Ancient Hawaiian tradition attributes the name's origin in the legend of Hawaiiloa, the Polynesian navigator credited with discovery of the Hawaiian Islands. The story relates that he named the island after a son.

Okay, that's more then enough information. I just can't wait to visit!
