During our birth, we are moved from one ward to another. When we grow older, and start our education, we move in terms of our educational level and the schools we are educated at. When we work, we move from job to job, hoping to achieve a higher level of satisfaction, an advancement in career prospect, and, of course, an increase in monetary income.

So, yes. We humans are always moving about.

The topic on hand, for now, isn't about the types of movements we make, but the actual relocation of the place we call, home. And the reason for doing so?

Well, there are usually 2 possibilities:

1. A downgrade due to lack of ability to afford.
2. An upgrade, an improvement in to the current living standards.

It's good to move on in life, to upgrade, to advance. However, such a "move" can be somewhat problematic and very much troublesome.

Moving from one location to another within the Singapore itself can already be quite a pain. What about moving from one country to another?

If or when you make such a move, tendency of engaging international movers automatically comes into mind. Reason? Well, for me, I guess it's the auto shipping service that is provided by these service oriented companies that attracts me to consider or even engage them.

Imagine me, the "brat" I claim to be. Even simply doing laundry is somewhat torturing to me. Is there any possibility of me moving boxes and boxes of items from one place to another?

I guess the stage of "packing", would have already sent me packing.
