I'm quite a superficial person, I have to admit. Don't be deceived by my goody-two-shoes looks (as if).

Once upon a time... (Haha)

Since I was younger, I was really spoilt (I've been saying this almost EVERYDAY lately). My mum and grandma hardly ever said "no" to me. Thus, I always somewhat get what I want. - Am I sensing envy?

I guess because of this kinda pampered environment I grew up in, I tend to have a slight arrogant attitude, which I do try rather hard to contain (okay, so many not all the time I try to contain it, but I do try most of the time...). But also because of this arrogance, it somewhat drives me to push myself harder to achieve the goals I set out for.

I don't know why but most of the "goals" set in my life has somewhat to do with wealth, status and material belongings. - Usually when you read statements like such, you tend to assume that the writer is about to say "BUT". Well, you're about to be disappointed.

Thankfully, god has been kind. And one by one, the goals I set, are achieved!

For example:

1. To have my OWN place by 25. - Achieved at 20!

A nice, quiet, condo in Orchard.

Well, I only said I wanted to have my OWN place. I didn't say it can't be rented.

I regret not actually taking photos of the place itself. I was too obsess with taking photos of myself back then...

By the way, I don't stay there anymore. In fact, I don't exactly have my own place anymore.

This goal has been re-added into my list. But this time, it's set at 35 and I'm not talking about rental.

2. To have my OWN car before 25. - Achieved at 21!

Haha. This isn't rented. Rental can be so much more expensive. It's mine. ALL MINE!

There's a "part 2" to this goal, by the way. What I own now I just a Getz. Before 35 (not as if the my Xiao Hong can last for more then 10 years anyway), I will most definitely UPGRADE!

There are more of course, but I'm just gonna highlight these 2.

Hmmm...

To spoil this perfect moment. There is a particular goal that I should have but yet achieve. And that is, my own (platinum) credit card.

A sub. card is nothing. What I want is to fully own it under my own name! I'm close, but still not there yet.

Soon, and I mean soon. I will be able to own my own (platinum) credit card (and use those credit card services).
