How many charities are there out there?
Well, apparently quite a handfull. And according to them, they are all out for a good course, which is to raise funds for the needy.
However, if you noticed, each and every of these charity campaigns, the "concept" is always "the same". They are always asking you to donate cash, food, unwanted clothes and/or stuff. So norm.
Will anyone just come up with something out of the ordinary? Erm... Apparently, some "people" did.
It's quite a kewl and somewhat fresh concept they (as in Boat Angel) have. They actually request for, don't be stunned, "Boat Donations"!
Amusing isn't it? Okay, maybe not.
Anyway, this is how it works...
Angel Ministries wants to help you help change the world. Through innovative partnerships and vehicle processing, Angel Ministries is able to convert your boat or yacht donation to significant value for charities. The process is simple:
- Either call us at 1-800-227-2643 or fill out our form online at www.boatangel.org.
- We send you out a receipt via email and package in the mail with a form and a disposable camera so we can get pictures of the boat.
- We get the package back from you and list it at www.charityboatsales.org. Your boat will be picked up in 6-8 business days. If it doesn’t sell, then we will pay to have it stored!
Well, though it is kinda kewl, but I guess it's only possible for the rich. I mean, I don't have a boat, do you?
But if I had a boat... Maybe, just maybe, I would consider to "Donate my Boat".
Oh well.
