Don't be deceived by my goodie-2-shoes looks!

I'm actually the kinda person that would say "things" right in your face (obviously I don't mean compliments)!

For example:

Do you really think I care?
Get a life, seriously.
What do I look like? Your maid?
Get outta my face!

Regardless if you are my boss or not, you share the same treatment (unless you are my dearest Monkey).

I guess I can somewhat imagine how unbearable it must be to work or being friends with me. I'm such a meanie. Still, "do you really think I care?"

Just a thought. Is it even possible, a brat like myself, would possibly do anything out of mere kindness from "my" heart?

Well... It's may be hard to believe, but no matter how unreasonable, how self-absorbed, how spolit, and/or so-on-and-so-forth a person may be. There is always a tiny bit of kindness in each and every one of us.

In other words, there is a kind side to me as well.

It's true! Though it's tiny, it does still exist!

I may be spolit, a meanie and even very much, judgmental. But it doesn't mean that I wouldn't turn around to help an old lady, if she fell down behind me. It doesn't mean that I wouldn't donate a cent to help needy.

Ahhh...

Step by step, I'm moving towards my actual topic - Charities!

In my opinion, "charities" in general, have the same motive, and that is to somewhat help break the cycle of poverty. The size of the organization really isn't an issue.

In fact, if given a choice, I would actually prefer donating and/or even doing voluntary work for the smaller charity organizations. The whole NKF thing kinda got to me (probably only Singaporeans would "get" this statement).

A particular organization that somewhat caught my attention is:

Children for Children (CFC) - It's a charity organization founded in 1996 by parents to foster community involvement and social responsibility in young people. It offers opportunities for young people from preschool through high school to "grow involved" through hands-on service and philanthropy programs that teach the value of volunteering and giving.

I really love kids! Their just so innocent. Being innocent, they are easily influenced as well. Without the right kinda direction, they might end up... Worst then me?

What this organization can offer might not be much, but ultimately, it's the thought that truly counts!

Have I said too much?

I'm going to put this bluntly.

I truly admire individuals that are somewhat involved in charity. It really takes a lot out of a person to go the extra mile for a stranger.

I mean... Would you put in that extra bit for another?
