Talk about old school games, backgammon is definitely one of the oldest as well as one of the more "popular" ones around?

Backgammon is a board game for two players in which pieces are moved according to the roll of dice. The winner is the first to remove all of one's own pieces from the board. Many variants have developed throughout the world, but most share common elements. It is a member of the tables family, one of the oldest classes of board games in the world.

Eventually, "people" decided to digitalize it to suit us, as in you and me, who lives in this modern society. Thus, it marks the birth of backgammon online!

The "creators" of backgammon online, BackgammonMasters.com, made so much money out of digitalizing this (old school) game...

They also "created" tournaments, such as the the BackgammonMasters Japan Open, for people to compete in!

They also decided to sponsor the yet undefeated, 25 years old, heavyweight boxer, Roman Greenberg, to fight, 35 year old, veteran boxer, Damon Reed. The "match" will be held at the South Town Exhibition Center in Sandy, Salt Lake City, Utah, USA on August 18!

To be honest, I don't really understand what's the point of the sponsoring so-and-so to fight so-and-so. But it's still kinda kewl?
