Though I know my camera is integrated to a mobile phone, and I can't expect much out of it. I still somewhat have to say... I hate it!
Look at the dreadful quality! It sooo doesn't compliment the actual "stuff" that I take (not that it's very flattering in the first place).
Anyway...
Every year, SAP would organize a Summit for partners, customers and such to attend.
The Purpose
SAP Summit 2007 is SAP's premier annual event where all SAP customers, partners and prospects gather to gain valuable insights into how business solutions can enhance their organization's performance. The main purpose of the forum is to foster an exchange of information on new technological developments, innovative business strategies, and industry trends.
This year, SAP Summit 2007 (Singapore) was held at Suntec International Convention & Exhibition Centre, on July 31, 2007, attracting quite a handful of participants. The topic for this year's SAP Summit was "Business at the Speed of Change".
Being somewhat within the industry (working for a SAP partner), I was somewhat made to attend the event (we have a booth there).
To be honest, I don't really mind attending/participating such events. I mean, I get to leave my perfectly decorated desk (as long as you overlook the pile of paper). My butt is big enough. Any amount of "exercise" would most definitely help.
There are freebies (new stuff to "play with")...
And there's food (which means I get to stock up photos)!

What's there to complain?
Oh yes! You'd never believe what happened!
I saw my dad at the Summit and he works for one of our (as in ObTech) "business partners"!
Geez! The world is so very small isn't it?
Pros to this unexpected encounter - One word: FROGGIE!
Cute isn't it? At least I somewhat gained something from all this?
Hmmm...
I wonder if I'd be attending the next SAP Summit in 2008?

the best thing about attending such events is the food and freebies. they have to make sure it's of certain standard because most of the guest are of certain status (not you).
