(Not that there's going to be a 2nd one...)
Hey, hey, HEY!
Look what came in the mail roughly a month ago (I know it's a little late, but it's better late then never)...
YES! My precious UOB Lady's Platinum Card!
Wahaha! And, of course, I happily put it (my precious credit card) in my bag and brought it with me to work to show it off! :x
UOB Lady's Platinum Card
For Singaporeans and PR. minimum annual income: S$50,000.
Apparently, in Singapore, only two local banks, United Overseas Bank (UOB) and Development Bank of Singapore (DBS) have their own line of credit cards designed specifically for women, which is the Lady's Card and Woman's Card respectively.
With a qualifying income of S$30,000 per annum, you are able to apply for the Lady's or Woman's Card. And for women with a higher income bracket, they can distinguish themselves by applying for the UOB Lady's Platinum Card (the one I have but I'm not actually within the "higher income bracket").
Anyway...
After holding it for all this while... Surprisingly, NO! I have not actually overspent yet! But yes... I've spent quite a bit more then I usually do, all thanks to my Vietnam trip for 4.
Seriously... I'm planning to get another card. Something that I could use for traveling.
After my Vietnam trip, I realised that I really love traveling. Hehe.
I haven't done much research yet, but so far only Co-operative Bank offers the kinda card that I want:
Travel Credit Card
rewards as you spendIntroductory rate of 0% fixed for 6 months from the date your account is opened, on purchases and balance transfers*, and thereafter an attractive standard rate of 16.9% APR typical/variable.
- when you pay with your Co-operative Bank Travel credit card, enjoy free Travel Insurance† or a 5% discount on 1000s of holidays booked with Travelcare. Plus we’ll waive the credit card fee when you pay with your travel credit card
- up to 59 days interest free credit if balance is paid in full by the due date
- travel reward points
- one Travel reward point worth £0.01 earned for every pound spent on the card
- travel reward points are redeemable against all transactions†† with Travelcare.
But sadly, I'm not able to apply for it:
To apply you must:-
- be a UK resident
- be aged 18 years or over
- have a gross annual income of £10,000 or more

Princess Sabrina. Do you think a man would qualify for a Lady's Platinum card? Nice wings by the way.
How did you know my name was Anonymous Coward?

Well, I've heard one that made a huge fuse over this matter and eventually got it. So I guess it is possible.
Lucky guess?
