Let's see...
I'm quite sure many of you see me as a self-centered know-it-all.
And probably most would assume that apart from my own design services I wouldn't introduce "others" to the peeps (though aren't many) that read my little old blog. Well... YOU ARE WRONG! Besides... I'm not able to service people around the world you know...
To be honest, I do not actually consider myself as the cream-of-the-crop yet (in terms of my designs standards of course).
My designs are "okay"... But compared to those that specialise in this field, I'm probably a toddler to them. *I'm sooo humble NOT!*
Anyway...
Recently, a new website built by www.primeview.com (aka PrimeView), a arizona web design company, really impressed me!
PrimeView is a full service interactive marketing and web development agency based in Phoenix, Arizona. Known for its award winning web design, PrimeView provides complete internet solutions that include web site design and page layout consultation, web site hosting, online and offline marketing strategies, as well as ecommerce and application development. PrimeView specializes in working with clients to create and implement successful internet driven business solutions that enhance your current business model. With over nine years of experience, PrimeView has the knowledge of available technology and the marketing expertise to help you assess and establish your online strategy needs and goals.
It's not because it's in Arizone that's feel safe to bring it up. That kinda impresses me!
They have actually successfully helped www.dashcourses.com (aka Dashcourses International) convert their 400 page static website, with no search functionality, and cumbersome navigation, to a dynamic CMS (Content Management System) website, in a record breaking 3 weeks (I'm assuming the CMS is built from scratch)!
Both companies worked around the clock to actually meet that "tight" dateline! And... They (as in Dashcourses International) is launching their site in Tokyo during a conference!
The left is before the revamp, and the right is after.
Seriously, it's a hell of an upgrade. And with the search features, it's much more user friendly. I cannot imagine going through 400 pages to find the information I need. *Ouch*
Sigh...
I've been designing for roughly 9 years. Ironically, till this very day, I still DO NOT have an actual portfolio for my potential clients to browse through my work (apart from my current pathetic one that displays the recent blog designs I've done).
I need something like this perhaps?
P/s: It doesn't look as a static image. If you want to have an actual feel of the "Before & After" (which I think you should), you can click here!
Anyway...
Sometimes I think I'm wayyy too lazy for my own good. I still can't understand why I didn't backup a copy of my previous designs whenever I decided to reformat my notebook. It's not like backing up takes forever... Geez!
