Nothing in this world (or rather Singapore) is free of charge, there's always a "clause" within. In time to come, probably even the air we breathe might be attached with a price tag.

*Ouch* That thought kinda hurts my pocket.

Anyway...

Wireless@SG is a wireless broadband programme developed by IDA as part of its Next Generation National Infocomm Infrastructure initiative. It will be run and developed in the next two years by three local wireless operators who will deploy a wireless broadband network in Singapore. Users can enjoy free, both in-door and outdoor seamless wireless broadband access with speeds of up to 512kbps at most public areas.

It's said to be free for 3 years and accessible at most public areas. Well, "said to be" is right.

Throughout this one over year, the only time I see Wireless@SG is at chains like McDonald's, Burger King, Starbucks, Coffee Bean and such.

In fact, there's this particular cafe within China Square Central, which had the "ad" stating that Wireless@SG is available. However, when I looked at the list of available networks. Well... I do not see Wireless@SG anywhere. So much for available.

Annoying isn't it?

Lately, it's getting worst. Not only is it NOT island-wide, now it's congested with...

For a moment, I thought my website (or rather blog) went kuku again or something. Then I saw the Creative Zen Ads and I realise:

Geez. It's Wireless@SG that ruined my blog design...

Yes! It's congested with Ads!

Come to think of it. What right do I have to complain? I have ads placements all over my blog, and it is supposed to be my "personal space".

After all, Wireless@SG is "given" to us as a free service. I guess I can live with ads here and there, and the fact that it somewhat "destroys" my blog's align as well as forbid me to view portion of what I would usually be able to see, right?

*Yawnz*

In conclusion:

Wireless@SG = Slow + Limited + Ads

Congrats!
