I guess the reason why I love Disney cartoons (esp. the Prince and Princess kind) is probably because in fairy tales everything turns out perfect. No matter how tragic the circumstances are, there will always a happy ending. In life on the other hand, it's kinda like wishful thinking. Until...

Ohhh myyy goddd! I cannot breathe!

I would never imagine that my life would actually make a turn for the better...

We met the morning roughly minutes after my sister, Vanessa, turned 18. The brat however, didn't turn up for her party. To think, I actually made the effort, dressed up and went to MOS. Geez. The things I do for my sister. Well, a good deed deserves another?

Anyway...

At the entrance of Ministry Of Sound (MOS), I met Joseph (aka Rusty, the guy that used to run the IRC thingy with me and Teck) and his cousin, Jason (that Cathy thought was cute). I was with Cathy, MissCel and Tingwei (he was a member there, so he brought us in for free, kinda).

*Blah, blah, blah*

We were introduced to their friends - Nick, Derek, Brian and Leon.

In short, throughout the night I basically spent most of the time with Joseph and Derek. MissCel was with Nick (the "ang moh") and Cathy was with Jason (her so-called eye candy).

It was suppose to end there and then since Cathy was returning to Philippines the next morning. But I guess fate has its way to make things work out the way it should be?

Cathy missed her flight.

Sweet isn't it? So yes, she stayed one more day.

Anyway...

I'm not going to go too much into detail about the "night at MOS" or the events after, I'll write about that some other time. This entry is solely meant for my (*cough* African) Prince Derek.

Cathy went back to Philippines, and I'm not sure why, but I actually SMS-ed Joseph and we met up for dinner or and supposedly, drinks (but ended up going for another KTV session).

I have to be honest, I somewhat preferred Leon at that point of time. I mean, I kinda prefer "Asians" as in you know... Yellow skinned guys? Furthermore Leon, somewhat, left an impression that night at MOS. He seemed... Matured?

Geez. What was I thinking? Maturity is sooo over-rated.

Anyway...

During the KTV, Nick kinda dared me, with 10 dollars on the stake, to lay my head on Derek's lap for 10 seconds. It's kinda no big deal so I accepted the "bet". Derek on the other hand, seemed shy, but then again, he didn't exactly have to do anything. I guess it somewhat started there and then. Somewhat, but not exactly.

The next day (I think), we went to play pool, just MissCel, Nick, Derek and me. Again, another bet was made. And well, I won yet lost at the same time, so to say that is.

I'm not going into details, rather embarrassing, but according to MissCel, that was the night that tipped the scale.

*Blah, blah, blah*

Sunday night, or rather Monday "morning"...

To think that I consider myself somewhat witty, I kinda didn't get the hint throughout the somewhat strange conversation we had. Finally, he popped the question and... I said yes!

I'm not sure what I'm feeling exactly, but the feeling is most definitely sweet.

"Someday My Prince Will Come"

Well... I guess he did. :P
