Are London jobs really that tempting?

Hmmm...

Come to think of it, I can't seem to remember exactly how long has it been since Ryan and the gang, left to further their education aboard (London to be exact). However, I'm sure that for the last 2 over years, I have not physically seen them appear in front of me.

Sigh. After a conversation with Ryan yesterday, I'm actually somewhat starting to miss them quite a bit. Strange how it took effect only years after they actually left though.

We've been friends since donkey years ago. When they were discussing about going aboard to study (which eventually they did), I was somewhat tempted to go along with them.

However...

For some weird reason, even though they somewhat offered to help with the school fees and stuff like that, I actually decided to stay alone in Singapore.

After actually stating my stand about the whole "let's go London to study" idea, the initial plan was for me to somewhat wait for them to return. However, "plans" kinda change one semester before their actual graduation, which is this semester actually.

Reason being?

Well... Sad to say, according to them, jobs in London are, somewhat, much better paid as compared to Singapore.

Furthermore, by working overseas, they'll somewhat increase their so-called "market value". Thus, when they actually decide to return to Singapore, they would be able to draw a much higher salary.

Anyway...

The decision is final. They won't be returning to Singapore to stay permanently. Even if they were to somewhat come back, it would only be a visit or something like that.
