During the days of my 'tragic' boring life, countdowns are like every other day. No fireworks for me that's for sure.

Although I didn't actually go anywhere to enjoy the fireworks this year (as in 2007) but I did get a glimpse of a mini fireworks display.

As for the actual display of fireworks...
