Duh. It's about time eh?

Finally, Edison Chen is back in Hong Kong, and a press conference in regards to the 'photos' sex scandal was held shortly after.

Finally it's all about to end? Thank god?

Anyhow.

During the conference Edison, the star of this scandal, admits that he took those indecent photos. He also implied that all the photos were his 'private items' and that he had no intentions for them to be uploaded.

Like DUH! Obviously.

Who in the right mind would want to destroy their own career just like that?

As for the whole 'disappearance act'...

According to him, Edison - he claims that during his time of disappearance he had in fact gone overseas to heal his 'wounds' and has been with his family all this while.

I guess I can accept that. I mean if anything bad happened to me, I too would have seek solitary from my family. Human nature I guess.

Now for the highlights...

Edison apologizes to all those involved in this scandal, *blah, blah, blah*. Adds that he is not shirking responsibility for it, *blah, blah, blah*. And,

claims that he will exit the entertainment industry for good!?

Better late then never?

Tell that to Nicholas Tse and see if he would reconsider his decision to divorce his wife, Cecilia Cheung...

Now to end the whole 'conference'...

Edison thanks the public for giving him a chance to apologize, *blah, blah, blah*. He claims that he will be devoting his energy towards doing charity work, *blah, blah, blah*. And he hopes that everyone can forgive him for his deeds, *blah, blah, blah*.

Oh yeah, the 'not so important' portion of it all, to me that is:

Edison says that he have been assisting the police since the first day the photos were published and he will continue to assist them.

As if he has a choice?
