Will I fail Accounting the 4th time round?

Sad but true, I've failed my Principles of Accounting paper 3 times in total.

1st time - Didn't turn up for the paper.
2nd time - Turned up 30 mins before the exam ended.
3rd time - Simply just failed.

It's not that I didn't even bother trying...

I don't know why, but whenever I'm face the Accounting question, and start thinking of the debit/credit, I get a huge headache.

I don't get it...

Why must Accounting be part of a Business Degree anyway?!

It's not like I'm majoring in Accounting or anything like that...

*Sobz*

I've considered dropping out, but I can't.

I'm already in my 3rd year, and the only thing that is holding me back from taking the reminding modules is PoA!

To makes matters worst, if I fail this again, I might have to retake the whole of year 1 all over again. (Unless my appeal is approved that is.)

*Sigh*

Whining isn't going to get me anywhere, might as well hit the books again.

/me away from keyboard, studying for exam...

I'm taking an Accounting class online and believe me you either sink or swim. I didn't think I was going to get in Winter quarter so I was on vacation. When I found out I was enrolled they hadn't sent me my books. Now get this I was a week late I'm not kidding and busting my butt to catch up. By the time I got caught up I was still running a week behind couldn't take two tests due to being locked out they only allow you the week to take the test so I have a total 345 points out of 1000 -- I'm finally caught up but short 100 points just on the exams and all but one paper was turned in on time -- I balanced them all though my handicap not knowing Excel and the teacher only takes Excel -- so how about failing accounting and you understand it just not given a break because of starting late -- I have two weeks to go and can make a total of maybe 300 points -- I knew I should have dropped this class -- when I didn't have my books that first week. So I sympathize with you Accounting is alot of work and where's the reward? I'd be happy if I just pass and I use to be on the dean's list -- oh I've been out of school for like 30 years did I mention I was 50. LOL....glad to see I'm not the only one that sank this time around thanks to Florida Tech. I've had two levels of accounting and graduate school Finance and passed them all and I am teaching myself accounting -- reading two huge chapters a week I'm having nightmares over those T accounts for every debit there is a credit!

I don't quite get the 345 points out of 1000. How does that work? Why upon a thousand?

I'm at a lost for words. I never want to see another accounts anything for as long as I live!

I just failed accounting too, I'm doing a certificate in tourism management, nothing to do with accounting, but i have to pass this class, yikes... I sympathise.

Sigh. I failed again and... The worst part is I can't just retake the module, I have RETAKE THE WHOLE COURSE! I decided to drop out - not my cup of tea (coffee or whatever).

I taking my a level exams in nov. Accounting paper is my last paper on 26 nov. I could teach while i study? But what topics do you guys learn? is it like accounts for O levels?

I'm taking a degree actually. Unfortunately all business degrees come with a couple of Accounts/Finance modules.

Sadly, I kinda skipped this through my earlier years of education.

According to those that have seen my assignment papers, it should be easier then O'level Accounts - profit and loss, debit/credit, bad debits...

But like I said I didn't take it back then. So yeah... ~>.<~
