Well lookie what we've got here!

Only 2 months after news of the "Edison Chen Sex Scandal" hit the Internet, his "I QUIT" claim on retiring from the entertainment industry all of a suddenly holds no more weight?

(Told you it was a stall.)

According to reports by Singapore newspaper, Lianhe Wanbao, Edison Chen will be cast as the male lead in a currently unnamed movie opposite Shu Qi.

The movie is a collaboration between a Singapore company and an independent American production house.

Filming will take place in both Singapore and Chicago, and $13.8 million has already been secured for the film's budget.

So far, all we that is being reveal is that Shu Qi will be playing a woman who meets an American student, played by Edison, who is working in Singapore.

Not much of a plot... Yet, that is.

Anyhow.

Edison's agent has disclosed that Edison is going to start shooting this summer, according to China Daily, citing news agencies.

So now... It seems the Paris-Hilton-wannabe-even-more-famous plan worked out for him after all eh?

I wonder if the "rest of the world" is gonna accept this "new movie" of his...
