Thursday evening, after work, before going over to Wine Bar, was like the WORST day of my life! (Exaggerated of course.)

I left the office like 6.15pm and intended to go back home to catch a quick nap (or something) before I head down to Wine Bar to meet the peeps from BLOG2u.

Traffic was definitely NOT on my side. It took like 20 god-damn minutes to pass Clementi Road exit, and to think that I started off from Jurong East.

By the time I was close to town, it was pass 7pm already. In other words, if I really went home I'd probably take a step into the house, turn around, and head back to the car park.

With that I gave up the whole "go home and take a short nap" idea. It's obviously not going to happen.

So yeah. I called up a colleague of mine, that is apparently in town, and met him for dinner before I went over Borders to pick up Nad and her girlfriend.

Anyhow.

I'm sooo not a hate-cabby person but seriously some cabs are just tooo...

I don't mind people cutting my lane, but at least signal or something. I mean if "you" did, I'd be more then glad to give way.

Unfortunately, not only did Mr. Comfort cab decide to cut my lane, he literally tried to run me off the road. (If I hadn't switched from mine, Xiao Hong would probably still be in the "hospital" right now.)

I was hoping that would be the end of my unpleasant road experience. Unfortunately, as I was about to turn left at Tangs, another Comfort cabby decided to pull a stun too!

He drove out from the taxi lane, into the yellow box and simply stopped there, right in front of me, blocking the whole lane.

My immediate reaction was to horn that s*n-of-a-b*tch, so did the rest of the vehicles behind me. But apparently that sucker didn't give a damn.

Having no other alternatives but to wait... Well... I waited. I mean what else could I do? Can't possibly ask me to get down of my car, walk over to the cabby and give him a piece of my mind right?

I was angry. I was pissed!

And this explains why I dislike Comfort cabbies!
