I totally, extremely, absolutely, and all the "ly"s I can think of - HATE the month of August!

Why? zZz...
Every August the Road Tax and the Car Insurance renewal invoice is being sent to me, requesting for payment. It's a yearly process, so I'm kinda expecting it already. The problem is - the Car Insurance is always sooo unpredictable. It can range from merely $1k up to $3k... *Ouch*
This year (referring to 2008, duh) is a total killer. I was kinda glad that the Road Tax dropped but l was totally shocked to see the extreme increase in the insurance premium.
Last year 2007, I had 10% NCD and paid a rough figure of $1.4k to renew the insurance. This year, however, the insurance raised nearly 50% and to think that I'm like entitled to 20% NCD!
Yes... I'm to pay close to $2.2k if I wish to stick to my current China Insurance policy and at least $1.8 or $1.9k if I switch to NTUC!
That's like a 400 - 600 rise and I have 10% more NCD! WTH!!! This is sooo totally unfair, I'm tell you.
AaahhH! This is a disaster!
It's my 2nd month into my new *ahem* job, and I have to fork out my entire salary to foot the bill.
My point? Okay. For now, I'm not going to put my point in words; gonna leave it for the next entry.
(I'm kinda low on entry counts these days. Might as well make the best of this opportunity and whine on separate pages. ;x)

Can send me an email next time should you need to look for more favourable quote for your motor insurance.
Still must say it is really costly to own a vehicle here in Singapore but that is LIFE :-)

Insurance claims has risen in Singapore, no doubt due to higher accidents, babe...:P
Neway, why should insurers stick to their previous rates n punish themselves for d sake of higher per capita income Singaporeans?? it's against the rule of making profit...:P
