First let me say that the title is NOT misleading; I'm just simply asking a stupid question.

Edison oh Edison... What can I say... GOOD JOB perhaps!?

I have to admit that you've truly found a suitable positioning for yourself that totally defines you apart from the crowd.

I'm sure this branding will totally bring you a million miles? (Or not.)

What the hell am I talking about?

Geez. Where the hell have you come from? Please DO NOT tell me that you've not heard about the whole Edison Chen 'PHOTOS' Sex Scandal episode. Unless of course if you're telling me that you just managed to dig your way out of a hole and miss the whole hooha on this... Then yeah... I can totally understand. Otherwise... Hellooo...!

Anyhow.

Due to this whole "sex scandal" thingy, Edison is like the no. 1 outcast of the Asian celebrity society and the hit topic for a really relative long period of time.

If I've not mistaken, when the scandal broke out, rumor has it that Edison was given a somewhat role in the past-tense, upcoming Dark Knight movie that many are anticipating. However, also due to the scandal, speculators implied that he may be remove from the casting due to the stupidity of what some thought of as "an attempt to follow the footsteps of Paris Hilton."

So now... Here are some questions that has been pondering in my mind,

1. Was he really given a "role" in the Batman: The Dark Knight movie?
2. Was he really "removed" from it due to the "sex scandal"?

Okay. To answer question 1 - If you have already watched Batman: The Dark Knight, apparently, he's still in... For like a split second that is.

To the speculators, if that was the initial plan to begin with, I don't think it was even worth mentioning/speculating that he'd be out. It really didn't make much of a difference. In fact, if not for the "sex scandal" people might not have even notice his "role" in the movie at all!

As for question 2 - According to an interview with the "Singaporean actor" that I have never seen before in my life, who had a hell load of screen time in the move as a baddie - what was shown in the movie was all that was planned. (At least that's what I remember he said. I could be wrong; wasn't 100% paying attention to what he was saying frankly speaking.)

In other words, he is either trying to avoid answering the question or implying that - NO, he wasn't given much screen time from the start and the scandal didn't help or destroy his chance to global stardom.

The conclusion?

(Sometimes conclusions are rather pointless you know. Especially when the point of an entry wasn't exactly that "focus" to begin with.)

Frankly, I don't see the need of one. What I do see is that whoever that made the poster, needs a good pat on the back. He/she has done an excellent job in entertaining the whole lots of us - don't you agree?
