It puzzles me...

Why do I still have to wake up so early in the morning when I'm suppose to be going on a HOLIDAY to relax?

I mean, I'm on HOLIDAY, not forgetting jobless, for god sake! Why do I still need to set an alarm clock to wake up?! Geez. What's the point of going on a relaxation trip if I'm feeling kinda stressed out about following a schedule? I sooo don't get it sometimes.

Tsk. Oh well.

Anyway.

The morning started out EARLY (like waking up for school when you study at Jurong and stay at Pasir Ris, that kinda early), though I have to admit, it came with a... How should I put it... Enjoyable but tiring start. The funny thing about it all is that I still ended up picking Priss up LATE! (Probably due to the enjoyable but tiring start portion.) Wahahahaha!

What can I say... Good things kinda takes time, if you know what I mean.

Oh! Did I mention I only started packing the like... Erm... Rather late the night before? Come to think of it, I'm not sure if I should actually consider that as actual packing. I mean, all I did was,

1. Went into my sister's room
2. Asked her where she puts her beach/swim wear
3. Open her closet, grabbed her beach/swim wear
4. Went to my room
5. Grabbed a set of my own top and jeans
6. Threw it all into the luggage bag my Teddybear loan me

*Poof* I'm done!

So much for the whole checklist the bear always prepares before he goes on a business trip.

/me *pat* myself on the back.

Seriously. It's just a 3 days 2 nights, Bintan trip. How much stuff should I bring? It's not like I'm going to some desert island or something. If I really ran out of erm... ANYTHING, I can always buy it there, right? It's a RESORT for god sake! We're not going camping.

Hmmm... Come to think of it, I wouldn't actually mind going camping one of these days. I haven't exactly done that in like 10 years? I wonder who I should drag along to go camping with me...

Anyhow.

Thank god the traffic wasn't too bad. Although we were seriously running behind schedule (based on the timeline Priss set that is) we still managed to pick up the ferry tickets, had "breakfast", and checked in before the last call. (Waaay before the last call in fact.)

Come to think of it, I think we were kinda early. If memory hasn't failed me, I remember I saw quite a number of people, still queuing up at the counter we were at, collecting their tickets and boarding passes. Travel agencies (or rather Priss)... They are such a panic case.

Oh yeah... Just remembered. There was one thing that went kinda wrong...

I'm not saying that I regret making no plans whatsoever, but if I had plan just a little beforehand, perhaps I wouldn't have gone Bintan with less then 10 bucks in my wallet? ;x

Okay. Due to circumstances, I didn't manage to draw out cash the night before, thinking that there should be an ATM machines at the ferry terminal.

Funny thing. There was an ATM machines at the ferry terminal as I've expected but unfortunately, there was ONLY one POSB ATM machine and that particular machine decided to go on strike. What were the odds eh?

So yeah, I, Miss smarty pants, went Bintan... close to CASHLESS! (Priss ended up paying for everything!) Wahahahaha!

Anyway. Back to where I left off...

*Hugs-hugs* *Kiss-kiss* (The bear and me of course.)

We (Priss and I) walked in, with our boarding passes, leaving the bear behind jumping around doing cartwheels! (Okay, he didn't do cartwheels, but we did suggest that he should just to create some attention for himself.)

The ferry ride took like an hour or so. (I seriously had no idea Indonesia was sooo close by. Sengkang to Jurong East takes even longer to reach!) I intended to play my Final Fantasy Tactics on my DS Lite, but ended up napping throughout. *Laughs*

An hour later...

Erm... To be honest, I wasn't as excited as I appear to be in the photo. (This was taken when we were already at the resort. I kinda left my camera in the luggage bag, so we weren't able to take any photos until I had it back. Sobz.) In fact...

When we arrived, it kinda didn't feel like we were going overseas at all. More like paying a visit to Sentosa? Oh well.

*Blah, blah, blah*

We collected our bags and stuff, went outta the station, did a survey of some sort, got a pen as a freebie gift for doing the survey, the boarded the bus that would bring us to Nirwana Resort Hotel. And yes, this time I played my DS Lite! *Hurhur*

*Blah, blah, blah*

Roughly half and hour later, we were at the resort! (Woohoo!)

There were drums, singing and a chill tropical mocktail, all to welcome our arrival...
