♥ Princessa's Royal Diary ♥ - Royalty has never been so PINK!

As a child I had many ambitions - a lawyer, a fashion designer, a singer, a writer, ...

It was very much later, after switching various majors, working for a while, and yes, BLOGGING, I finally decided - I wanted to be a writer!

Unfortunately, by the time I made this decision, it was a little too late to switch to the right education path - I was no longer a teenager.

With the qualifications I have obtained so far, I tried applying to numerous publications, both print and online. Some granted me an interview, but none actually offered me the job.

In June, I was finally offered a writer's position at 88DB Lifestyle. I was rather excited about it in the beginning, but the enthusism weared off after some time.

After working for merely 3 months, I had to tender in my resignation. It wasn't the company, it was me. I just didn't feel like a sense of belonging - it just felt like a job.

After another month of idling at home, blogging my time away, opportunity came knocking at my door - Aaron informed me that there's an opening at CR Media as a writer for Gadget3.

Initially I was a little hestitant to go through with it. I mean... Think about it, yes, I blog, but so does a million others. I have no paper qualifications or the past experience to actually write for a publication - not a mass comm. or journalism student. What are my chances?

After thinking about it for a couple of hours, I decided to just try my luck. It's close to my birthday, maybe I can rub off some "birthday girl luck" and get a surprise gift?

Guess what! Hurhur.

The editor actually called me up for an interview and it was to be held ON MY BIRTHDAY! Lolx! The "birthday girl luck" is working?

Anyway.

*Blah, blah, blah*

I GOT THE JOB! Woohoo! Wahahahaha! This is like a dream come true!

Although I've only been working there for like, as of today, 4 days, I'm like totally in love with it already. It's totally different from working at 88DB Lifestyle. I actually want to wake up and go to work! (And I hate waking up early in the morning.)

Oh wait, side track a bit. What do you think of my dress?

I wore that for work like today, or rather yesterday, since it's past midnight.

I can't remember where I bought the "dress" from but the belt is from Pull and Bear. :P

Okay. Getting back on track...

Honestly, the major factor why I love this job so much is not just about being a writer (and achieving my so-called dream) but actually writing about stuff that I can relate to!

My greatest joy, apart from my Teddybear,

my friends and my family are well...

Gadgets!

I treat my gadgets as though their like my pets. In fact, I think I treat my gadgets better then I treat Miki (which isn't exactly my pet).

Although Gadget3 doesn't mainly feature gadgets but "hey" it's Gadget3! Do I really not expect to interact with one of my life's greatest joy? Duh.

My point is... Actually... I'm not sure either. So yeah. Anyway. Erm...

I blog there like everyday but the style is kinda different - a little boring and much less personal. Give me some time, maybe I can like psycho my editor to let me "blog-blog".

I was thinking of doing like a column thingy too. So it'll be like news-style blogging, column-style blogging, and me-style blogging. What do you think?
