Oops... It seems I haven't blogged about it yet. Damn... And it was such an enlightening experience. Oh well, since I'm at this, might as well share it with you people now.

The evening started out... BAD! But it wasn't Philips or XPR's fault. In fact, if someone had to take the blame, I'd have to say "IT IS ALL MY EDITOR'S FAULT!"

Sigh. Of all times to call for a last minute meeting, he had to pick the exact moment when I'm about to leave the office. Geez. What are the odds. (Come to think of it, it kinda happens quite often - which is clearly NOT the point here.)

Anyway. What am I talking about again? Oh yes...

I was suppose to meet Nad to grab dinner before making out way over to Fairmont Hotel Lobby, but like I've already mentioned, due to the last minute meeting, I was LATE! I was sooo late, not only could I not make it for dinner, I almost didn't reach the meeting point on time!

Thank god I made it just in time! (Or rather, thank god no one EVER comes early!)

*Blah, blah, blah*

Both Dez and Teddybear made it for the limo ride! Woohoo~

(Unforatuntely, Peggy, Fidelis and June kinda didn't make it in time...)

In fact, there were only 4 of us (Gavin, Dez, Teddybear and me) in the limousine! Life's Good! (Oops not an LG event - think PHILIPS dammit!)

(If I don't skip the small talk this entry would probably take forever to complete. You know how it is - thoughts are usually random so if you wanna phrase each thought into words it's gonna take a while.)

To be honest, I was kinda expecting a short "welcome to Philips' Blogger Event" speech while taking the limo ride from Fairmont to Scarlet Hotel. But... Nope. Nothing. Not a word.

Not that it's a bad thing of course, just a pity. I kinda thought it would have been the perfect time for a "introduction to tonight's event" speech (which should never exceed 10 minutes). After all, nothing much about the event was mentioned in the invitation. Oh well.

Anyhow.

Having to take the last ride for the evening (though having the limo all to ourselves), we (Dez, Teddybear and me) kinda miss out on first part of the presentation - which is probably the monitor segment, since I don't remember seeing it but Priss and my sister kinda blogged about it. (And that's what press releases are for eh? Too bad I DON'T HAVE A GOODIE BAG, which usually contains the press releases! zZz...)

All I know about the monitor is that it's the Philips 42PFL9803H. I could search online to find out the specs and stuff, but it would kinda defeat the purpose of inviting us there to experience it righto? (Okay, I admit. I'm being sore about the no goodie bag thingy. ;x)

Moving along...

When we arrived at Scarlet Hotel, the feeling of "rush hour" kinda hit us, or probably just me.

First we were lead to either 3rd/4th floor to meet up with "the rest".

Staying put for less then 10 minutes, we had to make out again...

(This is why we should always record down the flow of events just.)

I can't remember the sequence, it is either,

1. We went down to take the limo then went up to the room, or
2. we went to the room, went down to the limo, then went up to the room again.

Hmmm... I think I'll stop here for a bits and continue the next half in another entry. It's kinda getting a bit tooo lengthy, don't you think so?

PS: I know, I know. "Where are the photos" right? I'll load them the second I find the time to go through all of them. :P
