Remember I mentioned about purchasing a camera at SITEX 2008? You know, the video entry taken last Saturday during the third day of show?

Sigh. Before I could reveal that I bought the Canon PowerShot E1 (PINK) in my own blog... IT DIED!
To think that I was going to write a really happy-exciting entry about my wonderful buy. So much for "a really happy-exciting entry"... More like complete devastation.
*Sobz* I can't believe that after sooo many years I finally decided to buy a camera - it dies on me within the week! How terrible is that! (This is totally going to scar me for life.)
I hereby OFFICIALLY revoke myself from camera purchasing privileges. From today onwards, if it is not a review unit or a gift from someone else, I will just have to live without a camera.
The reason why I never bought another video camera after my "dad" damage mine is the fear of disappointment. And sadly, I'm feeling that emotion right now - I am VERY disappointed!
/me walks away...
(I have nothing more to say right now.)
Just a side note...
This is probably the first, the worst, and the last experience I'm going to have with purchasing of a compact digital camera. Nonetheless, for whatever it's worth, I would like to thank Glenn (from Ogilvy) for sending my "baby" to the "hospital" in hope of "reviving" it.
I truly appreciate the effort, however, I believe when something breaks no amount of repairs would ever be able to fix it. The repairs may temporary resolve the problem, but it will never truly make it go away.
