In regards to what my sister posted recently, apart from an apology I guess there's nothing more that can be said, or not.

I first received an email from SGlenses.blogspot.com (a blogshop) in September - in regards to advertorial (butter barter trade). Back then, I was quite surprised they even approached me - not that I'm not flattered of course. I mean, as you can tell from the numerous photos I've taken of myself "over the years", I'm not much of a "contact lens" or cosmetics kinda person.

Looking at this as a chance to expand towards other areas with my blog and recalling that Nad mentioned something about introducing my blog to potential advertisers, I responded positively to the email.

Unfortunately, after responding, I never heard from the person there after - I guess they too realise they've been knocking on the wrong doors.

Anyway, back to the email they sent me.

In the email, the lady (I think) Christina mentioned about providing me with contact lenses in exchange for an advertorial. A good trade I would say. This way I could experience the product myself and maybe after an advertorial, review their product as well as services.

Now the problem is... I have little knowledge in contact lenses, how am I to decide which to get?

(Sisters do come handy sometimes, especially those that compliment what you lack.)

Knowing that my sister is an active online purchaser, I approached her for help. And that was how she came to learn about that blogshop.

...

After a week or two, hearing nothing from the "advertiser", I concluded the deal was off - no hard feelings of course. With that, when my sister came to me asking if they are reliable, I said yes.

I guess it was my assurances that lead to the purchase, and therefore, the disaster.

Initially, we thought it's probably just a delay. But as time went by, it felt more and more like a scam.

It has been two months (give or take) since she made the purchase along with payment, but nothing was delivered to date. They did't even respond until recent.

To make matters worst, the response came in just two words - "not yet".

Tell me, is it not fair to expect a more satisfying response? How would you feel if you waited for so long, emailed a couple of times, and at the end of the day they grant you two words?

Clearly, I am NOT pleased. In fact, you can say I am quite pissed.

Now in exchange for your two words, I shall grant you mine:

"If you can't deliver, don't go into business."

It's quite simple actually, don't you agree? Consider the extra words as a bonus, I'm in a giving mood.
