It's so hard to write about something that I feel nothing towards. However, a need, is a need. And sometime you have to forgo the principles of what you thought a blog is all about and just "do it".

It's really nothing to do with the event, it's just the thought of returning to SCHOOL on a weekday and sitting in a lecture theatre... I just can't help feeling bothered by it.

Perhaps it's because I treat this as a reminder of my age. Even though I was mistaken as a student during both events, the fact is still a fact. I am no longer a student, no longer a teen, no longer part of the youth-youth.

I am an adult living in an alternate reality, unable to wake up and smell the roses, unable to accept that I no longer possess "student pass". My point? Well, I've said this a million times over, sometimes I just don't have a point to make. And do I always have to?

This day, this miserable day of mine, I made my way, early in the morning (after dropping my Teddybear off at work), back home. I picked up my silly whatchacallasibling-sister and made my way to Temasek Polytechnic to cover, not one, but two events.

Another day of my life down the drain. It isn't that bad if you think about it, but still...

Anyway, the two events are:

1. Singapore National Culinary Team to defend its title at the Oceanafest 2009, held at Temasek Polytechnic, Culinary Academy

2. Meeting Young Minds @ BIT 2009, held at Temasek Polytecnic, Temasek Business School, LT19

This "experience" of mine is going to be spread across three parts. This is the first part (the "whining" bit), next would be event no. 1, and ending with event no. 2. It's not the typical format I blog about events, but I (yes, me) could use a change once in a while.

In the meantime, before we move on to the next two parts (which would probably drag over to next week), click out the event coverage at Gadget3.com! And yes, I wrote that too, which explains alot really.
