Coming up with topics on a weekly basis for the Resident Bloggers on Gadget3.com isn't as easy as it seems. After all, these bloggers are not all the techie kind and ultimately we are not tech-tech but very much gadget-focused.
Thankfully, me (Miss Sabrina-oh-mighty) isn't the Editor. Therefore, this huge responsible doesn't fall on little-old-me, but the Editor, which is my "boss" so to speak.
I feel honoured to be working in an environment that gives me privilege to work with bosses of tolerance, understanding and the willingness to groom little-old-writers like myself. This has given me (in one sense or another) a higher level of understanding to what is needed to make a publication work - online and off.
That said, the journey, like all journeys tend to have some setbacks (on my end of course).
As time passes by, we explore more possibilities in making Gadget3.com a better, readable and of course, friendlier environment for our dear members, readers and the general public that stumbles on our URL.
Now, moving along to more important matters – content! The web is about sharing, and I'm here to share.
If you've gotten a copy of Gadget3 Magazine, you'd see a new section called "Blogged!" where our Resident Bloggers share their know-hows, opinions and such, based on the topics given by the Gadget3.com team.
In March, the second issue, with Blogged!, will be out on newsstands and the panel of four "founding" bloggers remain intact. The topic showcased in the coming magazine is on the IT Show 2009, an event that publications like ours would NOT miss for the world.
So now, I share with my dear readers "the topic":
The IT Show 2009 will happen in March, are you looking forward to any gadget buys? If yes, what are they? If not, why not?
This is not an obligation of course, but if you may, it would be good if you could comment, and/or even blog about this topic and share with me your take on this matter (if it's a blog entry, do provide me the URL).
On the other hand, if you are interested in being a part of the Gadget3.com team, as a Gadget3 Resident Blogger, an Gadget3 columnist (for Gadget3.com) or such, I'll be more than willing to explore the possibilities of making "it" happen.
One last thing! Guess WHO is on the cover for Gadget3 Magazine's March issue!?
*** UPDATE ***
The poll is up! Do cast your vote and leave a comment with a valid email and you might just get something outta this. ;x

Trust me, it's a familiar face that we have all seen, not only on buses, posters, online, magazines and papers. (I should poll this shouldn't I?)
PS: Pardon me for the lack of updates, life hasn't forsaken me, but I have forsaken my blog... :(

Is there a clue on who's on the cover? What kind of criteria is set to be a resident blogger?
February 27, 2009 - 10:56am
Hmmm... I think I should set up a poll instead. I mean, it's not like anyone would be able to guess the right answer other than my close friends and the person who's on the cover. ;x
Well, basically you'll need to be able to write in English "properly" and be able to commit to writing about a topic every week without fail.
