Remember I mentioned about the gadget that caught my eye on day two? Well, we managed to take a second look at it on day three. Unfortunately, due to the overwhelming response, we won't able to play around with the gadget, or interview the vendors.

This reminds me of the talk about recession. It's a recession, how is it that sooo many people are gathered at the IT Show and many carrying purchases outta the compound? Does that mean that the recession isn't that bad after all?

On the contrary, according to Justin, it's the opposite. It only goes to show how people have been holding back before the show, waiting for the right opportunity (when prices are cut) to make their purchases. In fact, if you've watched day two's video, the people we've interviewed supported Justin's assumptions.

All three interviewees were looking forward to the IT Show to make their electronics purchases.

The first interviewee said that what he bought was something he had wanted to buy for a long time. He had made plans to buy it during the IT Show to get better bargains and additional freebies.

The second said she actually waited two weeks for the IT Show to purchase the gaming desktop her son wanted. She added that previously she would have immediately replaced the PC if it broke down but due to the recession; they held back and waited for the IT Show instead. The third had a similar response.

To put some light on matters, despite the recession, consumers still feel the need for electronics in our daily lives. With the recession, people are holding back but they are not completely wiping out of their system. So manufacturers/distributors/etc do not demise, this industry is still one that people have a need for consumption.

Patience is a virtue, let's just wait it out? :)
