I'm seriously starting to miss this lil ol' blog of mine. For the last couple of days I've been drowning myself with "work" - I reached home after midnight last night and 10.30pm today. It's a tough week.

Anyway. I was checking out "local news" and chanced upon the article "S'porean sells body for school fees" at AsiaOne.

According to the article, she is 18-years-old, she is Singaporean, she calls herself Amanda, and she is selling her body on the internet to raise funds for her school fees.

This Amanda (if that's really her name) posted a picture of herself in a revealing bikini on a local adult forum saying that she needed to quickly raise SGD16,000 for her school fees.

She said,

"I'm new here and need cash urgently. Brothers, please help me!"

In the post, she indicated that she weighed 57kg, 1.7m tall with a 36B cup size. She also included her mobile phone number for interested parties to contact her and a copy of her class timetable.

She specified that clients would have to book and pay for the hotel rooms and that she charges SGD150 per hour.

You know how "this kinda news" on the internet tends to spread like wildfire right? Soon enough a reporter from the Chinese daily picked it up and rang her up.

I'm assuming that through the phone conversation she revealed to him that she had been doing this side activity for over two months and served up to 10 customers to date.

She added that she has even slept with Singapore's Edison Chen, Gary Ng, who recently made the news for secretly filming his sex partners in bed.

I'm still trying to find this "posting on the forum" but to no avail.

Is this a hoax or a true story? I don't really know. I'm sceptical.
