I'm always on the lookout for something that could add a little extra spice to my ever-so-boring life (hurhur), and of course to widen my social circle - one of the many reasons why I Facebook, etc - gives me more stuff to blog about as well.

Recently, Safra Youth Network Committee (SYNC) launched an online portal, in2it.sg, which is supposedly catered to meet "your lifestyle needs".

A lot of factors come to mind when I see an online portal. I tend to weigh the pros and cons before jumping into something - dissection.

Dissecting a portal requires you to look at its design, structure, concept, content and community. There are just too many such portals around - I had my doubts even before entering the site.

Fortunately, the site conquered my pessimistic attitude. It was clean, structured and appealing.

in2it - What are you in2 today?

Here are some good lines to attract one's attention to "find out more":

- Don't know what 2 do in your spare time?
- Always wanted 2 find a new hobby?
- Got a hobby but no buddy 2 share it with?

And here comes the punch line: "We have all the answers! Get in2it!" - "2" is clearly a key here.

Clearly with all that who could resist not finding out more? And so I did.

Here are the 6 reasons...

The site feature articles on leisure & entertainment, lifestyle, sports, and interests & hobbies. I like the article on "Places not to be missed in Bali". I'm into travelling and Bali happens to be one of the places I would like to visit - this article saves me the trouble from reading up.

Apart from articles, it keeps you up-to-date on the latest happenings such as contests, events and Safra members' exclusive offers.

Here's this month's events calendar:

The baking workshop seems interesting... Oh, and did you know that as a Safra member that drives, you get to enjoy 12% off petrol at Caltex?

You may want to check out the gallery.

They have photos on past events and stuff. Pretty neat.

Last but not least, you get to make new friends by interacting with other members via the forums, private messages and/or etc. You even have your very own personal home page where friends can be added and tracked, events can be planned and discussed on! It's like a localised Facebook really.

So, are you "in2it" yet? If not, what are you waiting for?!

Now, here's something extra for readers out there: Watch a movie with Princessa contest!

For those who register with the referral code "Sabrina" you'll stand a chance to win the weekend movie tickets giveaway! And yes, I'll be watching it with you! Let's go for drinks after that?

Contest closes on June 13th and the results will be out by the end of the day (hopefully).

PS: I'm sooo looking forward to meeting you guys/gals. Drop me a note if you've registered and used my referral code kay? Ttyl!
