Time flies by quickly, just a blink of an eye and it's been three days since I got back from Perth, Western Australia (WA). It's only been a couple of days and things seem so different. After putting in so much effort into something, suddenly, I have to let it all go. Life is just so unexpected - for good or for better.

My diary is something I keep dear to me and my blog is something I like to share. In unexpected situations, you make unexplainable choices. I reckon it's time I start afresh.

A new start, a new diary, a fresh new story.

Now, back to day two. The last I mentioned, we had fish and chips for lunch. We sat around a bit, took a couple of scenery photos (some of which has me inside) then headed to the next destination - the ice-skating rink!

I was really excited! I haven't ice-skated since... Since... Well, I can't even remember since when! Tsk.

"Once a skater, always a skater."

So, if anyone tells you,

"Hey I used to skate but it's been a while so I can't skate anymore."

He/she is lying. It is possible you can't skate as well but not being able to skate at all is bullshit! He/she probably doesn't know how to skate well to begin with.

Anyway, you know how things don't always work out the way you want it to? Well, we had a bit of a hiccup while making our way to the rink.

The rink is located at Cockburn, but we had no clue exactly where. After circulating around the place for a bit we had no choice but make it back to the house, go online and Google it!

Yes, Google it! Lolx~ Such a weird way of putting something really. Nowadays we depends on Google for almost everything - where to go, what to eat and so on so forth. Isn't the web the best thing that mankind has ever created?

Now that took a couple of hours off the day. I was determined to ice-skate and we did, eventually at least.

We found the rink after much effort but the afternoon session was about to end by the time we got there. The next session was at 7.30pm.

We had a couple hours to kill so we went SHOPPING! I need a new pair of boots, not desperately but after seeing the boots people wore on the street. The tiny desire grew slightly to become a huge one.

I'm not really the shopaholic kind (I think). Most of the time when I see something I like I buy it (when I'm intending to spend money shopping that is). But this time, being jobless and all, I really had to evaluated before making any drastic decisions.

We visited almost all the shops that sold boots at the mall, and ended up Robin bought the second one I spotted and somewhat fell in love with. Yes, Robin bought it for me cause I was still pretty hesitant to make the purchase myself. It's not expensive, but was it necessary?

Robin is probably one of the most generous guys I know, aside from Ryan that is. Come to think of it, most of my friends are pretty generous when it comes to me. I'm a Princess in distress - in terms of financial well-being that is.

Did you know there's such a thing called a drive through bottle shop (e.g. http://www.bottlemart.com.au)?

It's the first time I saw such a thing really. Then again, the last time I went to Australia, I wasn't legal to drink so I wasn't really paying much attention to surroundings. Hurhur.

So yeah, like how you drive through to pick up lunch at McDonald's, you can also drive through to pick up a 6-pack beer. Awesome eh? No hassle.

Just to show me how it works, Robin went to buy a 6-pack. Lolx~ Honestly, he could have just verbally explained the logic. But hey, whatever works for him.

We were still early for the session when we headed back to Cockburn. Watching people practice hockey while I type my entries wasn't that bad, not for me at least. I love the cold weather. Like I mentioned, I'm a winter sports kinda gal.

Now here's the part that I am kinda ticked about. I said,

"It's okay if you don't wanna skate. Let's just not skate then. I don't wanna skate alone man."

We went skating but I ended up skating ALONE. Need I elaborate the details?

Sigh, it's pretty sad being the only Asian girl in the rink that can skate. I have no one to talk to, nothing to do except circulating the rink, and... Well... Yeah.

Spoiler: The next two days were amazing! It's like living in a fairy tale! Do stay tuned!

PS: Yes, I do have photos. Gimme some time to run through it kay!
