I caught a glimpse of this through some random blog I chanced upon while I did my daily scavenging of the Internet: "Don’t miss the clues for the latest Disney Channel Sweepstakes!"

The "sweepstakes" started last month on July 12. It's August now so I guess it's reasonable that everyone's interested to find out who actually won. The thing I don't get is why is it a spicy keyword search item on Google according to Google Trends?

Seriously, just log-on to Disney Channel website and you'll find out that the winner is Makenzie, TX.

Anyway, since I'm already on the topic, might as well share with you peeps some more information.

Basically three of the major series on the Disney network: Hannah Montana", "Wizards of Waverly Place" and "The Suite Life on Deck", have come together in an effort to promote the "Wizards on the Deck with Hannah Montana" sweepstakes.

Basically the cast and crew of the immensely popular Disney Channel ventures such as "Hannah Montana", "Wizards of Waverly Place" and "The Suite Life on Deck" will work as a team in the promotion campaign for the "Wizards on Deck with Hannah Montana", which is slated to premiere on the network’s channel on Friday, July 17.

Starting Sunday, from July 12 to Thursday, July 16, the sneak peaks will be beamed on the channel between the time slot of 8 pm to 9 pm

Those who are willing to participate in the sweepstakes are required to follow some simple instructions. They have to follow through the six days and keep track of how the "daily items":

Sunday: Orange life vest
Monday: Comb
Tuesday: Lip gloss
Wednesday: Blood pressure cuff
Thursday: Vial of blue dye
Friday: Bunch of Roses

Are made use of in the peaks. After that they can log on to Disney Channel website to answer the questions made available there and record the answer.

The moment all the six things get recorded, one is eligible to gain an entry in to sweepstakes. The contest is open to all kids between the age of 6 to 16, which means I'm not eligible for it. Hurhur.

The lucky one who wins the sweepstakes will receive 3 wizard wands, a Hannah Montana ankle bracelet and an S.S Tipton life preserver.

Time to get changed and head to school! Sigh.
