Remember I mentioned earlier that I went for a meeting with the executives from Dell? That meeting went pretty well, or at least I think it did.
During that meeting I learn a couple of things: how PR agencies pitch to the clients, how the caught-by-surprise kind of questions that gets thrown at you at almost any point of time, how it is important to do your homework before doing a presentation, how to backup your "team mates" when you know their caught in a corner.

Perhaps it was the ascent or that I just wasn't on full alert, but there was just this one question that I didn't actually catch. In fact, I didn't even know it was a question. Thankfully, Gavin kinda notice my hesitation and in a way answered while repeating the question to me.
At that point I realised something. No matter how well good a public speaker you may be, it is important that you actually know your stuff cause some clients actually do know their stuff too - I said some.
After the meeting we heading for lunch. Before I go into that, let me just side track a little. Gav is the a horrible driver. To all that gets motion sickness, I advise that you DO NOT take lift from him. The whole sudden acceleration then jamming on brakes can really cause a tummy stir.
Okay, enough of that, back to lunch!
Like all Chinese course meal, everyone at the table shares the dishes that are placed before them. Initially, I didn't intend to take any photos, so by the time I decided to take them, we had moved on the the third dish already.
PS: I remember the first dish is peking duck but I can't seem to remember the second dish. I do recall it's a soup dish but I can't be sure if it's shark fin.

Make a guess what's this dish? It looks very much like fatty-pork or whatever you call it. On contrary, it is perhaps one of the healthiest dish out of the full course - it's tofu!

The first dish was peking duck, you'd think that since the skin has been removed to be served in a wrap why is it that the next duck dish still came with skin as well? Honestly, I have no answer to that question. I wasn't really paying attention to whether it was the same duck or a new one.

When the next dish was served, I thought it was sushi. But why would a Chinese restaurant server a Japanese dish? So I asked Gav, "Is this sushi?" He added, "It's three different kind of egg yolks, not sushi."
So it's three different types of egg yolks, is that healthy? Hmmm... It's tasty though. Probably one of the best dishes in fact.

I'm not a big fish fan, I mean I do eat fish and all but just not too big on it. So after taking a decent photo of the dish, I passed on my serving to Gav - he eats everything, explains the size.
Before we knew it, the last main course dish was served.
This was my servings:

And this was Gav's:

Maybe I should have mentioned earlier that I'm not much of a veggie kinda gal.

To end the meal, we had desert. I was hoping it would be yam but turns out it was a cold dish - almond with lychee.
After lunch Gav gave me a lift back to his office where I picked up my Xiaohong and headed back home.
PS: My greatest regret of the day is that I didn't take a group photo with them. Sigh. Oh well, next time perhaps.
