This has always lingered in my mind, but I never really brought it up (or have I, I can't remember). Anyway, watching Desperate Housewives got me thinking, are looks really that important?

People say comforting words like:

It's what's deep down that matters.
I love you no matter what you look like.
You're the only girl for me...

Well, believe it or not, that's all bullshit. Lies, all LIES! Men would say ANYTHING there and then to get into your pants.

Looks matters. It matters A LOT! Don't be taken by the "oh no, don't worry. I don't mind if you go fat." Trust me, when that really happens they'll be singing a very different tune.

But of course, these are just my opinions. Feel free to correct me.

I'm sure there are "good guys" out there. Guys that are partially blind, or temporary blinded by "love" if that even exist in this material/realistic world. Good sex makes up for the poor looks too of course.

And no, I don't consider the possessive ones as "good" they're just plain possessive. They don't love you they just want to possess you. It's all in the ego.

I'm not PMS-ing or having a bad relationship. I'm just being blunt.
