These days I'm required to read a lot. More than I ever had to when dealing with gadgets.

The problem with writing fashion is that you don't get thrown a press release which has all the facts and figures stated clearly.

In writing fashion, you need to research the past while predicting the future. You need to have an eye to create and/or spot a trend that has yet popularised.

Unlike gadgets, there are no guidelines. You cannot compare technology, you cannot review it, and you definitely cannot test it. What you can do is wear it and perhaps define who can wear it and who has worn it.

More importantly, in fashion, a picture says a thousand words. Less words, more pictures. It's time to improve my photography.
