This is perhaps the longest Razor TV interview I've seen so far - 8 parts (thankfully it's roughly 5 minutes per segment). Then again, I don't really watch Razor TV that much, or anything online for that matter.

The former Miss Singapore World 2009, Ris Low is in the spotlight once again? Check it out:

I fast forwarded (here and there) quite a bit, but generally got the "big picture".

I have to admit, my perception of her has changed a bit. I'm starting to sympathise with her. We (the media, the netizen, the public) have been pretty harsh. But no pain, no gain eh? This is how the world goes round.

Okay. She doesn't seem to be as dumb as she appears to be, at least she knows how to take the "pity" approach. Nonetheless, this interview hasn't exactly done her any good (explain further later on in the entry but generally...). Her English language skills are truly atrocious, her ability to express herself is embarrassing, and her understanding is debatable so to speak. Sometimes I can't decide whether it's simply a language issue or she just isn't that bright - I'm going to lean towards language, consider it one nice deed for the day. Her Mandarin on the other hand, does seem to be pretty fluent, but she barely spoke so I can't be certain.

My stand remains unchanged, she still doesn't deserve the crown and/or to represent Singapore. She has a serious case of dishonesty - main explanation why the interview didn't do her any good. Whether it is a medical issue or not is besides the point.

Even if we disregard the credit card fraud incident, there are still other issue we cannot overlook. For instance, there is a huge different between a B3 in English and A1 in Communications. During this interview she admitted she didn't in fact like "leopard prince" or any animal "prince" so why did she say she did? Last, but not least, cheating during an exam - there's no excuse really, she is 19, not 10. What's all that about wanting to study hard, etc? Rings a bell?

Her conscious isn't clear and she should know by now that this little lies would affect her credibility - and it already has.

Just to clarify, it's Miss Singapore World or Miss World Singapore? It's no biggie, just wondering.
