The funniest thing that happened on black friday. It is probably not going to translate very well, but, I have to tell it.....
My daughter and I were walking up the parking lot heading into Target. We stopped near the handicap spaces to let a car back out, because let's face it drivers were crazy yesterday. While we stood there, she slowly backed out and we both hear a "POOF" noise. Next thing I know, I've got red dots splattered all down my shirt, my jeans, up my arm and in my hair. Sam, who was closer to the car, starts to complain about the few dots that are on her boot, as I stand there caked in the yucky red liquid. She hadn't looked at me yet, so I told her- I don't really think your shoe is that bad. She starts to retort that it's her favorite boots that has the icky stuff on them. But then she looks at me... yeah. Hello? I'm covered in the nasty stuff. While some would be mad, I started busting up laughing because of the irony of it all. She's complaining about a couple dots on her boots and I've got it smeared all over my arms, shirts, pants. Crazy. I know. It was so hilarious but at the same time- sooo gross. The car we were waiting to back out had rolled over a taco sauce packet... yuck.
But it give us a great black friday story and a laugh for the rest of the day:)
