Typing away on the keyboard of my beloved MacBook Pro, the bear's 5 minutes timeout turns into an overnight deep sleep (I predict). And I'm betting nothing in this world will be able to wake him from his slumber. Not even a cup of ice down his shirt, or t-shirt for that matter.

Complaining I am not. For silence is much preferred compared to his nonsensical talk about how he didn't expect the price for parking at Cineleisure would have exceeded his calculated amount of the supposed per entry cost of SGD3.14. Despite the fact that I was completely against not topping up the cashcard before exiting the compound. But no, what do I know? There's always tomorrow.

He never fails to prove me right. I've lost track the number of times I could use the words "I told you so." It has somewhat lost the fun in saying it. And I would prefer to be wrong given the circumstances.

The evening ended in another successful attempt to make me feel that he is indeed a fool. But before he exposes his old true self to me once again, like he does every other day, the evening was unexpectedly pleasant. More than pleasant in fact. I received two Christmas gifts from two unexpected individuals.

The value of a gift is not its price but the thought. And for that, for once, I feel less out of place. No amount in this world could have accomplished it. Some things are priceless.

Enough said, breakfast is in 6 hours time. And yes, the bear is clown shoes.
