My sisters love Gossip Girl, and I would too if given the time.

It seems after P. Diddy's famously iconic White Party in the Hamptons everyone is going white. And if you watched the Gossip Girl, you'd totally understand what I mean.

Lisa Chau, the owner and editor-in-chief of The Iconic Fashion Blog, said she "totally loved what the characters wore especially Serena's completely laid back and utterly ethereal gorgeous ensemble." As a result, she found a substitute by Vera Wang that does a perfect job but at a pretty nifty price.

Ivory sleeveless full length gown with draped detailing. This 100 percent silk, Vera Wang gown, has a cowl neck and back, pleated panels, is fully lined and has a zip at the back to fasten. Kinda resembles the type of style you'd see in Roman days.

Cleopatra dressed as Venus, the Roman goddess of love

It was said that when Mark Antony asked Cleopatra to meet with him, Cleopatra decided that she had another opportunity to return to power both in Egypt and in Rome, if she could make him fall in love with her.

Cleopatra dressed herself as Venus, the Roman goddess of love. She filled her ship with so many rose petals that the Romans knew of her fragrance before they could see her ship. The ship was sailed by her maids, who were dressed as sea nymphs (fairies in Roman mythology). She reclined (lay back) under a gold canopy (a cloth covering, a tent), fanned by boys in Cupid costumes.

Athena, the virgin goddess of wisdom, strategy, and war. She fights battles using strategy and tactics rather then brute strength. She also supports weaving and crafts.

I just have to visit Rome :( .
