While picking the colours for the next feature in the magazine, I kinda notice that there are numerous trends this season. One of which involves going back to nature with the four elements: air, fire, earth and water.

Earth is apparently more talked about than the rest, or so I say (can't really verify it since it's impossible to actually go through every single report available online and off for spring 2010).


The OC: The Original Chick. by trendsetter, featuring Kork

When I saw this set at Polyvore I thought... “The OC” as in the American teen drama television series? Then I realise... “Oh... the original chick” it's so obvious really having put just beside “The OC”.

Anyway. In my opinion, when referring to earth colours I would think... brown really. What describes earth better than the ground we stand on, not considering the cemented pathways that are man-made of course. Now, look at how many browns can be found in this set. It spells earth all over.

(I'm making this up as I go along...)

I particularly like the pair of shoes despite a comment saying that it looks funny. It's not your typical pair of shoes but it works.

Oh-oh! I just bought a top from Forever 21 that I pretty much similar to the tunic dress - shorter no doubt.
