No where close if you ask me. I have no idea why I came up with that title, it just came to me and I decided to type it out.

I don't fancy big groups of friends, I prefer small ones. The down side about that, well... it's hard to organise gatherings when the different groups don't exactly know each other. It takes a while for people to warm up to each other. The number never exceeds 5. But of course, the good side to it involves making new friends. It's always good to know someone new, kinda.

Anyway, I forcefully, went through organising a KTV session (at K Box, Ang Mo Kio Hub) with perhaps the most random group of people EVER. Fortunately, they were all friendly folks and I think they kinda got along... I think.

KTV usually involves Priss, me and etc. There were many occasions where it's just the two of us. I'm fine with it really, I feel most comfortable having only embarrass myself in front my best friend in the world. (Then again, I never had a problem at open pubs either. I'm used to being made fun of.)

So it's George, Isabelle, Aylwin, Justin and... ME! Did I not mention it's a random combination?

Justin kinda knows Isabelle, she was down at Gadget3's office before. Isabelle knows Justin cause... he was from PC Magazine. Aylwin knows Isabelle through me - SauceINK photoshoot - vice versa. George knows the both of them also because of the photoshoot. So basically, Justin doesn't know George or Aylwin, and ... I'm ending it here. In short, I'm the only link.

It's so weird really. Such a weird mix and it was actually pretty fun. I mean, I liked it, can't speak for the rest that is. It's been forever since I last KTV-ed. It's kinda weird not having Priss around though.

Key points:

1. Isabelle can reallyyy sing, low pitch and high ones. It's amazing really. She is perhaps the only other person (apart from George) that can actually read the Chinese characters.

2. George was totally amazing too. To think I've "known" him for 10 years, I had seriously no idea. I'm easily amused, and impressed. A guy that can sing is a major plus.

3. Aylwin wasn't too bad either. I kinda though he was pretty ching chong, but now I know... he's Mandarin might actually be worst than mine. Lolx.

4. Justin... well... that idiot refused to sing. He picked up the mic a couple of times but no one actually heard his voice. I've no idea if it's due to the fact he is shy or he just doesn't sing. I'm leaning towards shy, only because of what Johann said.
